Problems with computers.

In this last work we had a problem when we started uploading our powerpoints and MP3 files to slideshare.net from our computers. Because of this problem, finally we have applay our presentation and the voice in googledocs.

Ferit Orhan Pamuk

In this activity we are going to write a biography of Ferit Orhan Pamuk because before do it  this writing we didn't know him and we liked the information that we read about him. Besides we have known that he is a very good writer and he won a lot of important prizes.

 

Ferit Orhan Pamuk is a Turkish writer who was born in Estambul on 7th of 1952. He was born in a good family where his father was an engineer and he was educated in an American high school. Then he continued studying in the Istanbul Technical University to become an architect.But after three years he started studying at the Institute of Journalism in Istanbul University in order to follow his dream of becoming an artist. He finally was graduated in 1977.

But after some years he had known that he really wanted to be a writer, so he started involving in the world of literature and thanks to his original and rich writing style as well as intellectually,  he was awarded with the nobel price of literature in 2006.

He wrote many novels like Beyaz Kale in 1985 and also he won the  Milliyet Yayınları Roman Yarışması literature prize in 1979.

THE TRUE HURTS

In this work, we have participated eleven groups of our class of  ICTs, writing each group one paragraph of the story. We have chosen a romantic story with diferent conflicts because we think that it could be an interest topic for us.

 
 Everything began in full summer when I was watching the waves of the sea. The sun was shining in California, I was on holiday.  I was sixteen years when he appeared. I remember this day as if it happened yesterday. He was the only person who understood me and he was the reason why I´m here.

The name of this boy was Martin, he was tall and blond with blue eyes and he was very handsome. The only problem for me was that he didn't like girls, he liked boys, he was homosexual. He was my best friend, I was always with him so I started to fall in love with him.

          
 After a year Martin went to Miami with his boyfriend and I was left alone. I went to Miami to look for him. The airplane went out to Miami at four o'clockof the afternoon so, I went to the airport at txo o'clock p.m. and there I found an old friend. He came with me to Miami and while we were in the way for Miami we talk about our lives.

    
We arrived to Miami and we met with Martin in one big restaurant. When I saw to him I remembered all the beautiful moments that I had lived with him. We stayed a lot of time speaking about what we had done until that moment but suddenly I realized that he was alone. I took a big surprise when he told me that he had broken with his boyfriend.

   
Martin started crying when he told that to me. I tried to help and I invited him to an attraction park.  There we spent a good time, but in the last attraction I declared him my love.

Martin  was surprised and he didn’t know what to say. We stayed in silence for a long time. I started to get very nervous. 

    
     Martin said to me that he wasn’t ready to start with another relation and apart of that he said that he considered me, like a very good and special friend abut no like my lover. Also he thought that if we started with the relation probably our friendship would be broken. I thought finally that it was going to be better for both. 

    Although I agreed with him, I had to fight for what I wanted and so I casted on him and I kissed him on the lips. Firstly, he separated but then he continued kissing me. He kissed very well, and her lips were completely fleshy. I felt that this was the happiest moment of my life and should make the most.

    
 When we separated I couldn't look him, I was very embarrassed. Suddenly he put his hands in my face and he said me to look him.

-Kate, I am so sorry. I don’t want to do this. I’m sad but it isn’t a reason to hurt you.

-I think that you feel something special for me.

-I am sorry, Kate.

Martin stood up, smiled me and started walking down the street.

While he  was walking I started thinking about all that it had happened to me and I started to cry and I said to my self:

-Why does he do that?  what shall I do now? I lost him!What can I do? I’m lonely now!

Finally I decided to go home and tried to sleep.

Suddenly, they knocked at the door, but I was very tired to opened so I did like I was sleeping, but they didn’t stop so I went to open the door. When I opened I saw a rose with a note that said, “ I’m sorry, I don’t want to hurt you. But you have to understand that I’m not very well to have a new relation”

Kate and Martin continued been friends, and Kate helped to Martin to forget the relation that he had before. One month later Martin began falling in love with Kate and they started been boy/girlfriend. Everything went right and they spent the rest of their life together.

Teenagers vs adults

We all have problems with our parents in many aspects and nowadays, it is increasing a lot. In this text we are going to comment some of these problems and why they happen.

In most of the cases these problems are caused because we always want to do whatever we want, like play with the computer, see too much TV, go to parties... and our parents don't let us because they want the best for us but we have a different view of it.

In our opinion, if they want the best for us our parents  also have to understand that we are young people and we have to have fun like them when they were young. So, we think that they don't have to worry so much and let us go to parties or do other things.

Besides, concerning the problems about school, we think that we try to study as much as we can; so, our parents have to pay atention for us, but without stressing.

So,  in general, we can say that the problmes with  parents are very extended in all of the world and to resolve these problems with our parents we think that all of us have to do our best.
